Supermarket Artfair 2013

It has been quite an adventure to get all together there at Supermarket Artfair in Stockholm.  And we have learned a lot. Though the presentation was not too bad it has been much too short for T.act as group and could have even been threatening for the fragile social group system. So  have a look at the stand and it's building up process and be curious about our new ideas, which deal with a much slower and longer during event that shall end in a sort of "lifelong-tact-camp".

What it's all about

THE DREAM OF GOLDEN FAIRYTALES OR THE PARADOX OF A NATURAL RESOURCE

We choose GOLD as our topic, because it is a well-known metaphor of the 21^st century conditions like power accumulation, media, neurotics, work-conditions and pollution, conflicts, status symbols and projections.

These different angles are shown and aritstically commented within this exhibition.

T.act – Tribe of artists in collaborative terms is working on no solution, but create an artwork on a topic from various angles, ideas and concepts, that represent the multiculture on earth.The artist group is always working on site with the material found on site, that evolves a direct connection and recognition to the local enviroment.

The unique thing about t.act is the collaboration, discussing and meeting as a group being on a par and living thousands of kilometers away from each others. For everyone it is open to organise the next step for a work-in-progress gathering.

Everyones coming with ideas and preperations. The site and the groups conception modify the individual ideas to the outcome of one installation. This is spread over the exhibition place and can be read by the visitors in a row of concequent developments.

Osman has arrived from Sweden today, after organising our presentation at Supermarket Artfair

The material everyones using is collected on the way to work, through the souk or on the way back home.

Carton, wood, papers, tiles.

Some other stuff, golden rope and colors were brought from outside, but we have found already many shops for nails, shoepolish, glue, pigments, printers and much, much more.
